Most Cubs fans know that since 1995, the Lakeview Baseball Club has maintained a Cubs Futility Odometer on its building on Sheffield Avenue, across the street from Wrigley. The sign marks the number of years since the Cubs have won a division title, NL pennant and World Series.
The sign will need a little updating this year to add the number of years since the Cubs filed for Bankruptcy.
Here is the new sign...
As you can see it's been 0 years since they won the division (08), 63 years since the NL pennant, and 100 years since they won the WS, and zero years since they last filed for bankruptcy.
